Decide what kind of help you want before opening a guide
Spoilers are personal. One player may be comfortable seeing region names but want to avoid mission titles. Another may want only an answer to a control or access problem. Choose the boundary for this session before searching. “Help me with the place I am standing in” is a narrower request than “show me the whole completion route.”
Keep your first reading queue small. Save the launch preparation guide and playbook backup instructions, then add a topic only when you need it. My playbook keeps those saved reads together so you can return directly instead of browsing every news headline or future walkthrough.
This guide is spoiler-light planning advice, not a promise that every page or linked source is spoiler-free. Hundo does not currently provide a universal filter that hides all story names across the site. A guide title, search result, video thumbnail or external source can itself reveal information. Read the title and description before opening the next page.
Start with the checklist, then reveal only the detail you need
In My playbook, Verified checklist offers filters for region, category, completion relationship and search text. Use the narrowest combination that answers your current question. Show remaining only helps reduce repeated reading once you have marked completed entries. If a result disappears after completion, change that filter instead of searching through unrelated categories.
Objective descriptions and their source links sit behind Reveal description & evidence. Leave that section closed until the name and completion relationship are insufficient. Opening it may expose context you prefer not to read yet. A closed panel limits accidental reading of its details; it cannot hide a spoiler already present in an objective name.
Required, optional and unknown are evidence labels about completion, not spoiler ratings. An unknown relationship can still be worth recording as a discovery. You do not need to read a lengthy route to turn uncertainty into certainty: sometimes the honest answer is simply that Hundo has not verified the requirement.
Ask one question, not for the rest of the game
When you are stuck, identify the smallest missing fact. You might need a landmark approach, the exact wording of an error, or evidence that an activity is available under your current conditions. A whole-game walkthrough answers many questions you did not ask and can make it harder to stop reading at the right point.
A useful note to yourself is: I reached the named place, tried the approach from the source, and saw this message. Leave the next chapter and later story outcomes out of the note if they do not solve the immediate problem. A future guide should explain prerequisites and the next action before optional background, but check what is actually on the page instead of assuming that every source follows this order.
Do not interpret a warning as a verified permanent lockout unless it includes evidence for the trigger and recovery checks. Repeated community warnings can still trace back to one untested observation. You can keep the uncertainty visible without revealing the scene that prompted it.
Keep personal context private and share evidence deliberately
Your own worksheet or notes app can hold the details you are comfortable seeing later. Account dashboard notes can keep context attached to a published objective when you use that tracking view. Hundo’s current playbook does not offer a general session-notes editor, so do not expect a worksheet download to sync into it.
For a public contribution, the Contains spoilers choice in Share a discovery is selected by default. Keep it selected when the title, description or linked evidence contains story information. Give an editor enough context to check the claim while keeping the proposed public title as neutral as accuracy allows.
A spoiler flag helps editorial review; it is not a guarantee that an external video thumbnail or article will be hidden. Check the public evidence link before sending it. Do not include account recovery details, passwords or unrelated personal information in a gameplay report.
Treat videos and external sources as a separate decision
Before starting a video, look at its title, description and the timestamp you intend to use. A timestamp can help you reach a specific explanation, but the page, thumbnails, audio or adjacent segment may contain more than that one answer. If you need very little help, a short written instruction may be easier to control than an unrestricted video.
Hundo’s source links open publisher or community material that follows its own presentation rules. Hundo’s ad-free membership removes Hundo ad placements, not advertising or recommendations controlled by a video platform. Paying for membership does not add a universal spoiler shield.
If an external source supplies a useful fact, keep the precise URL or timestamp in your record. When you contribute it, explain the supported claim and any limit in the evidence. A visible feature in footage does not automatically establish a 100% requirement, an availability schedule or a collectible total.
Build a return point without reading ahead
At the end of a session, write one next action and one open question. Record the place or menu you reached, using wording you are happy to see again. Your next action should resume your own playthrough rather than point to a scene you have not encountered.
Return through My playbook when you want your saved reads, or open the relevant filtered checklist when published objectives are available. Check the saving mode so a guest queue on one browser is not confused with an account queue on another device. Export the current playbook if you want a readable reference before changing browser storage.
Completion planning does not require reading every discovery immediately. Keep official requirements separate from optional exploration, and let a reviewed answer arrive when the evidence supports it. You can decide how much help to reveal each time you return.
Common questions
Does Hundo hide all story spoilers automatically?
No. Checklist evidence panels can stay closed, but there is no universal site-wide spoiler filter. Titles and external sources may contain spoilers.
Can I save guides without opening every detail?
Yes. The guide save button adds a read to your playbook. Saving it does not require expanding checklist evidence panels.
Does ad-free membership add spoiler protection?
No. Membership removes Hundo’s ads. Reading controls and free content access are the same for all players.
