Prepare a discovery report

  1. How to do this

Name the thing you observed and the question your evidence answers. A preview or article is a published source, not proof of a gameplay requirement.

  2. How to do this

Write what you started with, what you did and what happened. Include platform, version and evidence date when known. Say what you could not test.

  3. How to do this

Link to the relevant article passage or video timestamp. Test it signed out. Remove private account information; never include passwords or purchase codes.

  4. How to do this

Open the contribution form. Enter your evidence, review the spoiler and optional credit choices, then choose Preview my submission.

  5. How to do this

Sign in with a free account, send the preview for editor review, and check the success message and My submissions. A submitted report is not automatically a public verified objective.

This is planning advice. Unverified requirements, locations, and lockouts are kept separate from confirmed facts.

Report a finding, a correction, or a source worth checking

Open Contribute from Hundo’s navigation. The form accepts evidence for an editor to review; it is not a way to publish an instant public checklist entry. You can prepare and preview a draft before signing in. Sending it requires a free account. Membership does not give a report priority or make its claims verified.

Before launch, Published source is the appropriate platform choice for an announcement, article, or public video you want checked. A press report and a tested game mechanic are different evidence types. Explain precisely what the source establishes and what it leaves unanswered. After release, a gameplay report should use the platform you actually tested and the build you observed.

Fill the form so someone else can reproduce the observation

Give the discovery a specific title. In What did you find, and how can we reproduce it?, describe the starting state, the actions taken, and the result you observed. Include the condition you believe matters, but distinguish what you tested from what you suspect. A short sequence is easier to review than an unqualified conclusion such as this always works.

Choose a region only when you can establish it. Unknown / statewide is available when the location is unclear. Record the evidence date as the date of the observation or source, rather than guessing a launch date. Enter a build number for tested gameplay, or Not applicable for an article when reporting a published source. If you cannot determine a version, say that explicitly rather than inventing one.

  • Specific finding or correction in the title.
  • Starting conditions and reproducible steps in the description.
  • A public evidence link pointing to the relevant passage or footage.
  • Platform or source type, game version, region, and evidence date.

Link the evidence without copying someone else’s work

For an article, link the precise page and explain which statement you want checked in your own words. For a video, include the timestamp in your description so the editor does not need to search an entire recording. Where possible, use a link that opens at the relevant moment. A video title alone is not evidence for every claim discussed in it.

Check the link in a signed-out window before submitting. A private cloud folder or an expired sharing link may be inaccessible to an editor. Remove account names, email addresses, purchase details, or other private information from evidence when those details do not help verify the claim. Hundo does not need a password or an account recovery code to review a discovery.

Describe the gap between observation and conclusion

A useful report can be incomplete if its uncertainty is clear. Seeing an animal in footage supports an observation about that footage; it does not establish a collectible set, a spawn schedule, or a 100% requirement. Those additional conclusions need separate evidence. The same distinction applies to weather footage and a claim about how frequently a weather event occurs.

For example, a future gameplay report might say: I completed objective X, then photographed the completion menu before and after. This is an example of evidence structure, not a claim that objective X exists in GTA VI. If several actions occurred between the two screenshots, explain that limitation: the counter change cannot yet be assigned to one action confidently.

A permanent-lockout claim needs more than an objective becoming unavailable once. Record the trigger and whether later availability, replay, or recovery was tested. If recovery has not been checked, report that gap instead of telling readers they must restart a playthrough.

Preview, choose credit, then send privately

Contains spoilers is selected by default. Keep it selected whenever the evidence or description reveals story information. Optional public credit name is separate from permission to publish that name. If you want public attribution, supply your preferred handle and select Allow Hundo to publish my credit name if this finding is used. You can send evidence without requesting public credit.

Choose Preview my submission and review the displayed title, description, evidence link, platform, version, date, spoiler flag, and credit choice. Edit the form if something is wrong; changed form content needs another preview. If you are signed out, copy your draft before leaving to sign in so you do not lose the work.

When signed in, choose Send for editor review. A success message confirms that the discovery entered the review queue and links to My submissions. Preparing a preview is not the same as submitting it. If an error appears, resolve it and send again rather than assuming the draft was received.

Follow review status without treating a submission as a verified fact

My submissions in your account shows your submitted reports and their review status. Editors check whether the evidence supports the claim, whether another entry already covers it, and whether platform or prerequisite differences explain a conflict. They may keep a report pending when it needs more evidence.

The public catalog grows through reviewed publication. Sending a report does not automatically create an objective, change the official completion total, or establish a missable warning. That separation protects other players from an early guess becoming a widely repeated fact. When reporting a correction, identify the existing page or objective and explain exactly what needs to change.

Common questions

Does my report appear publicly as soon as I send it?

No. Reports enter a private review queue. Publication requires editorial review.

Can I submit an article before the game launches?

Yes. Choose Published source, link the precise article or video, and explain which claim it supports. Do not label untested mechanics as verified requirements.

Must I publish my name?

No. Public credit is optional and requires your explicit credit choice in the form.
