Before launch: remove the practical interruptions
Begin with the account and console you will actually use. Check that you can sign in, that the purchased version appears in the platform library, and that the console has the space currently required by the storefront. Follow the download and update instructions shown by the platform. Hundo’s launch hub links to official release information; a preload announcement should not be treated as permission to play early.
Prepare a second screen if you want a companion while playing. Open Hundo on your phone or computer and save this guide, the playbook backup guide, and whichever completion guide matches your goal. You do not need to spend your first session reading every article. A small queue makes it easier to find useful help when you need it.
This checklist is a preparation routine, not an optimized mission route. It does not assume an opening mission, a difficulty option, a manual-save slot, a replay feature, or a collectible set. Those details need evidence from the released game. Use the menus and instructions you actually see rather than treating a familiar GTA pattern as a promise.
- Check console sign-in and the purchased version in your library.
- Review current storage, download and update instructions on the platform.
- Save two or three useful Hundo guides.
- Choose one goal for the first session.
Choose a first-session goal you can finish
Story first, free exploration, official completion, and trophy hunting are different goals. Pick one as your main intention for the session. If you want to enjoy the story, there is no need to open a speculative completion route before playing. If you want to build a completion record, start by observing the relevant menus when they become available.
A useful personal goal is small: learn the controls shown by the game, reach a natural stopping point, or record one confirmed objective. “Complete everything efficiently” is too broad to tell you what to do next. Your goal can change as you learn what the game actually offers. Keep trophies separate from the official completion counter unless the game establishes a relationship.
Write the goal at the top of the downloadable session worksheet. It is an ordinary text file that you can edit in your preferred notes app or print. It is not uploaded to Hundo, and it does not connect to your console. The blank fields are prompts for your own observations, not claims that a particular game feature exists.
Set up a record that belongs to this playthrough
Open My playbook and read the saving status before changing anything. Saving in this browser means a guest record belongs to that browser profile. Saving to your account means changes use your signed-in account. Guest and account records stay separate; signing in does not automatically transfer a guest reading queue. Save the guides again while signed in if you want them in the account queue.
In your own session notes, record the platform, the playthrough you mean, and the game version if you can find it. Hundo’s current completion record is one list, not a selector for several independent runs. If you start a second run, keep a separate dated worksheet so you do not accidentally describe work from the first run as progress in the second.
The console’s game save and Hundo’s companion record have separate jobs. Hundo remembers the website entries you manually mark; it cannot read your game save or award an achievement. Follow the platform and game’s own instructions for saving the actual playthrough. A Hundo backup does not protect a console save.
During play: record the smallest useful evidence
Check an objective after you complete it in this run. Watching someone else finish it in a video does not finish it for you. If Hundo has no published entry for something you found, keep a personal note rather than choosing a vaguely similar objective to make the counter move. New reports can be sent through Share a discovery for review.
When a menu changes, write down its exact wording and the before-and-after values if you have them. A single counter movement can be useful evidence, but several actions between observations can make its cause unclear. Record that limitation instead of assigning the change to your favorite explanation.
For a location, record a recognizable landmark and approach. For an unavailable activity, record the visible message and what happened immediately beforehand. Neither observation alone proves a required collectible or a permanent lockout. Useful early notes let you return and test the question later without pretending you already have the answer.
If the checklist looks empty or an entry disappears
Hundo’s Verified checklist contains reviewed published entries, not a guaranteed complete map of the game. Before enough evidence is reviewed, an empty catalog is expected. You can still save guides and keep a session worksheet. An empty website list does not mean your game is complete.
Once entries exist, remember that Show remaining only hides a completed objective. If an entry disappears after you check it, turn that filter off before assuming the save failed. Search text, region, category and completion-relationship filters can also narrow the list. An error message or Saving unavailable needs attention before you rely on a change.
Treat the website total as a count of the currently published catalog. Keep the official in-game completion display as the authority for the game’s own percentage. A growing catalog can change Hundo’s denominator without undoing work you already finished.
End with one next step and a portable record
Before leaving, write one concrete next action. “Return to the landmark I recorded and check the approach” is easier to resume than “continue exploring.” Add any question that remains untested and the piece of evidence that would answer it. You can keep a public guide link or timestamp without copying an entire walkthrough into your notes.
Check Hundo’s saving status and error messages. Then use Export my backup if you want a snapshot of saved guide slugs and completed objective identifiers. Download or copy it before clearing browser storage. Use Restore a backup to preview and merge matching website entries into this browser or your signed-in account. Existing saves stay in place; unknown entries are skipped and shown in the preview. Keep the session worksheet separately because it contains your personal context rather than only website identifiers.
A good first session leaves you with enjoyable play, an honest record, and a clear return point. You can read more when a specific problem appears. Tracking, guides and exports stay free; optional membership removes Hundo’s own ads.
Common questions
Do I need a membership or account for the first-session plan?
No. The guide and worksheet are free. Guest playbooks save in the current browser; account-based saving requires a free sign-in.
Is this a verified fastest route through GTA VI?
No. It is preparation advice and a record-keeping routine. It does not assert a mission order, unlock route or full completion checklist.
Does the worksheet sync with my Hundo account?
No. It is an editable text download for your own notes. Saved guides and completed published objectives use the playbook’s displayed saving mode.
