Leonida’s wildlife: what Game Informer revealed

More than 170 animal species are reported. The completion requirements remain unknown.

An original Hundo summary with source attribution. Completion implications are our analysis.

The reported details

In its September 29 exclusive, Game Informer reports more than 170 animal species across Leonida. Its examples include manatees and flamingos, alongside invasive wildlife such as rhesus macaques. The article draws on Rockstar’s developer details.

The report also describes trackable animals in Rare, Discoverable, and Legendary categories. Their identities have not been revealed.

What this means for your tracker

Hundo analysis: a species count is not a checklist of mandatory objectives. We will organize wildlife discoveries when evidence identifies individual animals, locations, and tracking conditions. We will not turn the reported species total into 170 required tasks.

The article does not establish how animal tracking contributes to the official 100% counter. That relationship needs separate evidence from the released game.
