Use official place names as your starting point
Rockstar’s People & Places presentation introduces Vice City, Leonida Keys, Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia, and Mount Kalaga. These names are a sound basis for organizing a region directory. They do not provide the coordinates for every objective.
An illustrated map is not a verified game map
A useful map needs a verified base, a coordinate convention, and evidence for each pin. Until that exists, Hundo should link you to region information and clearly distinguish an illustration from a navigable in-game map.
Even after launch, an area label and a precise objective location serve different needs. A collectible pin should explain where to look and how it was verified; a broad region tag should not pretend to be that level of detail.
Build a region notebook
Group observations by the official place name, then add an objective name and source. If a location is uncertain, keep it out of the verified map until someone can reproduce it. That makes the directory more useful as the real checklist expands.
- Use the published region names consistently.
- Record landmarks before claiming exact coordinates.
- Attach platform/build and evidence to location reports.
- Keep unverified pins visibly separate from checked locations.
